Sophia V. Rodriguez, MPA-PNP

Sophia (she/her) is passionate about creating places that cultivate equitable access to opportunity and advance environmental justice. She is committed to her community and believes collective leadership will allow for the health, well-being, and vibrancy of future generations. She trusts the innate wisdom, dynamism, and resiliency of fellow women and people of color.

While she pursued higher education in order to obtain her career goals of public service leadership, she also highly values the lessons provided through lived experience. As a third generation Californian of Mexican and Filipino descent, her perspective is heavily shaped from having been raised in the southeast neighborhoods of San Francisco. She is a proud mama and appreciates spending her time exploring nature, creating, as well as eating and laughing with family. Sophia currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
